These light-based treatments can be very effective for the redness and flushing component of rosacea.
By treating the blood vessels, the vascular response is diminished. We have seen dramatic results for patients with rosacea even in a patient who were suffering from stinging and burning from their rosacea.
After several treatments, their symptoms were gone. Please note the worse your rosacea, the more treatments you will need for optimal results. Lastly, none of the laser or light-based devices will "cure" you of rosacea.
We are just treating one part of the problem and your genetic background and environmental exposure, diet and UV exposure will be important to keep things in check.
